Time-lapse HDR Video of Japanese Night-Time City Scape by Samuel Cockedey

WOW, even with their lost decade, Japan is STILL in our future! About TWO decades ahead of us! Maybe three? The point is, Japan is a glimpse of all that we could have become, and some parts of the world may still become. Don’t you people ever get anachronistically nostalgic about the post-cyberpunk future/past that never was?!

Samuel Cockedey, a French photographer based in Tokyo, has uploaded another one of his mesmerizing time-lapse short films. This one is called inter // states, and it’s best to watch it in HD full-screen here.

The sound track is a piece by Paul Frankland, aka Woob, called “Paradigm Flux.”
